With a starting price of $3,499, Apple debuts Vision Pro, the first mixed-reality headset with a 3D camera.
On Monday, Apple CEO Tim Cook unveiled the Apple Vision Pro, the company's long-awaited augmented-reality headset, at the company's annual software development conference WWDC 2023. With Vision Pro, Apple has made its first substantial move since the release of the Apple Watch nine years ago.
"It's the first Apple product you look through, not at," Cook said at the WWDC 2023 keynote speech, announcing the Vision Pro, which starts at $3,499 (about Rs 2,88,742).
Cook refers to the Vision Pro as "spatial computing," as it has a three-dimensional camera and microphone system that allows users to easily take films and images that can be viewed in 3D afterwards.
The Vision Pro, which has been in development for years, may be worn for up to two hours with an additional battery, according to Apple, which will reduce the weight on the user's head.
